Be a part of the team
The Coates Centre could not operate without its wonderful team of friendly and dedicated volunteers, who welcome visitors and guide them to information and advice to them cope with everyday challenges.
They are just part of a bigger team of volunteers who offer their time to Oakhaven Hospice and Hospice Neighbours. There is a wide range of volunteer opportunities from administration and reception roles to gardening, driving and direct patient support.
Volunteering has many benefits helping you to:
- Make important networking contacts
- Learn or develop skills
- Teach your skills to others
- Enhance your résumé
- Gain work experience
- Build self-esteem and self-confidence
- Improve your health
- Meet new people
Do you have a skill that you could bring to Oakhaven? We’d love to hear from you.
